Altama Mil Spec All Leather Boots

This is my first pair of Altamas and I'm impressed by these boots. I decided to spend the extra $10 and get the military spec versions and I'm glad I did. These boots are extremely comfortable and i tried running in these the first day i got them and I had no hot spots or blisters. They do well in snow with some shoe polish to repel water. I found they do run slightly large. I wear an 11 Nike athletic shoe and the Altamas in 11 were slightly big. i should have ordered the 10.5s. I'd recommend these 4157s for anyone looking for a good quality boot.

Durable and Good Boots

I used these for 4 years while in the Air Force. They show some wear but still have some life in them. I got to liking them so much I just bought another pair. Great all around boot and I just wear them with jeans on the weekends. I did have a problem with one of the eyelets coming loose but I took them to a shoe shop and they tightened it for free.
