Tough USMC Boots!

By Kevin Cook from Camp Pendleton, CA on Mar 2, 2013

Tough boots. Definitely the military spec quality I'd expect from an American made boot by Altama. These boots are a joy to train in. Running, jumping, crawling, rappelling...these boots can take it. They also let your feet breathe in summer and are unlined. Not the lightest out there but they are tough!

Pros:
Breathable
Can take a beating
Cons:
Not light

These boots really solved my foot problems.

By Eric Hardy on Nov 15, 2012

I'm not in the military nor do I use these for any type of athletics. I bought these boots after visiting the podiatrist for some foot problems. The doc recommended I buy some custom insoles for $300!!! So I bought my first pair of combat boots instead and these got some good feedback. These boots are really durable and give good arch support with a thick, stiff outsole. My foot pain has since disappeared since I bought these. They weren't cheap but much less than the custom supports I was prescribed. I'll definitely buy another pair after they wear out but it's been seven months and they still show almost no wear. Highly recommend these boots for folks like myself with foot problems.
