The Bates E02488 GX-8 GORE-TEX Waterproof Insulated Side Zip Boot are specially designed so that to provide military troops and law enforcement professionals the the best footwear while serving in winter conditions during the fall and winter season. The GX-8 boots have a rubber outsole and athletic cement construction for "bullet-proof" durability that reduces the chances of slipping on icy or wet pavement or terrain. A cushioned removable insert adds further padding and moisture wicking to your feet while on duty. The boot upper is made of high quality leather with ballistic nylon and 200gr of Thinsulate insulation makes the boots ideal for freezing temperatures. A Gore Tex bootie makes this boot completely waterproof and keeps your feet dry during shifts outside in the wet weather conditions.
