I have been wearing Belleville boots for several years now. The problem that I was having with other brands such as Bates and Altama was towards the end of the day, my feed would start aching in the heel area and sometimes the arch. After I trying the Belleville 390s on a recommendation, my pain went away. These boots are extremely comfortable, in fact, they are as comfortable as my running shoes (except the weight), and they are an enjoy to wear. The only thing that can be improved is they arent waterproof but despite that do deserve a five-star rating.
Im on my 3th pair of the Belleville 390s. I've been wearing this model boot since my first pair that were issued to me. There's a reason the Army issues these. I wore them through Ranger School, SFAS, RSLC, and other military courses before the sole on my last pair wore through. These are a sure bet for me.
These Belleville 390s are some tough boots. They are made to last. Double stitching. High quality leather. Vibram sole. What's not to like?
I've got 2 sets of bellevilles, one pair for the summer months and winter months here in Montana. Very durable boots but just make sure you order your street shoe size with the gore tex version. These hot weather ones ran a full size too big but I followed the manufacurers guidance and they fit. I'll take one star off for the sizing confusion but other than that, they are great boots.
Great boots for the money. I've had these for 4 months after coming off of some more expensive Danners. Honestly, I like these Bellevilles much better in terms of comfort. I'm sure the will last too being made in America and all.
I ordered these for my son who is deployed to Afghanistan. He says these are now his favorite boots. I'm surprised the military does not issue these right from the start.
I ordered these on fri and they arrived on tues so thanks for the fast shipping. when i tried them on, they were way too big so i had to send them back for a full size smaller. the customer service was pretty quick so 5/5 on this but 4 stars overall because the boots ran big.
I wear these for 10-12 hours every day on the work site. I needed a steel toe boot but was looking for one that was light weight and with good air flow. The Bellevilles have been great all around. Best of all, they're still made in the USA.
I'm very satisfied with these boots. I work construction and need a comfortable, lightweight, steel toe boot. This boot does it all. Those made in china workboots do not even come close. Working 12 hour days are no problem with these.
I didn't see the sizing advice that these boots do run large so just keep that in mind. Otherwise, very happy with these boots.
These boots have been great. I've had these for about a year which is great for me. My boots usually last me 6-8 months.
