Reebok just broke the mold with the new Dauntless tactical boot line, newly released in summer 2013. This lineup features some of the most modern materials and technology in the footwear forefront today. The Reebok RB8621 Dauntless Men's 6in Comp Toe Side Zip Tactical Boot is an ultralightweight boot designed for high-performance applications That require the protection of a safety toe but allow for the freedom of a mid-height boot, as opposed to a standard military height boot. The Dauntless features a moisture wicking mesh lining treated with Aegis Microbe Shield for the ultimate in odor, bacteria, and fungus protection. A dual density EVA midsole provides lightweight shock attenuation to keep wear and tear off of your knees. This boot is on a percent nonmetallic for environments where x-ray equipment may be present. Reebok has incorporated a TPU Bruise Plate that increases walking and running efficiency to give you a slight edge over your competition. Parachute-grade 550 cord is used as lacing for unbelievable strength to give you a custom fit and feel.

For light duty

These boots are made for light duty. An office or station setting won't be problem but I'm not sure they would do well for outdoor use. They do have a nice feel and look great. Keep in mind they are made in China but for this price point (and the fact that 95% of footwear on the market is as well) thats to be expected. The compostite toe is nice and the toe box is spacious for my wide feet.
