Good boots. Lots of padding but definitely on the bulky side. These aren't a tactical boot but good for walking around.
These aren't as good as my army issue boots I got in basic. They require some break in but not as much as other boots I've tried. These are made for people with high arches. I have flat feet so I had to change out the inserts with some custom ones. Overall, not too bad of a boot. Just make sure you get this version which is army compliant (no zipper).
I just got these yesterday. So far, they aren't too comfortable but it's only been a day. Shipping was fast.
These boots are very comfortable. I'd give them a 9/10 compared to similar boots I've tried. They do feel like you've got a running shoe on as far as your feet go. Good ankle support and good padding. I'm using them here in Afghanistan for my deployment and they are a bit too insulated for hot weather. Other than that, these are great boots. They required virtually no break in time.
My coworker recommended these boots. They are as comfortable as the reviews say. I can tell they are good quality and not cheaply made. Solid boot all around. Speed lacing would have been nice but I can still get these on pretty fast. They ran slightly large.
My left boot fit with no problem but after a couple of hours I started getting a hot spot on the heel of my left foot. It could be that my heel is sliding around slightly when I walk. It eventually turned into a blister so I don't know what other reviews are saying about no break in time. They do fit a little large. I ordered my running shoe size like it was recommended but I could have gone half a size down. The padding on the ankle part of the boot is very good and padded. Almost feels like my snowboarding boots in term of padding.
i work in construcsion so i bought these cuz i need a durable comfortable boot since im on my feet for 12-14 hours every day. very happy with these. im on my second pair. the first ones lasted me about a year which is kind of short but the trade off is beter comfort. i think its worth it.
Love these boots. I hope they don't stop making these. Very comfortable and excellent quality.
I ordered these online on Sat and they got here on Tues. These boots didn't require any break in. Normally when I get new boots, I soak them with water and walk around them for a couple of days. That usually speeds up the break in time. But with these, I tried them on when I go them and they were so comfortable I decided not to soak them. I've had these for a month with no problems. Plus they are light and give good protection for my ankles. I will be buying the black version of these boots for my EMT job.
I like these. Fairly lightweight but not really designed for rock climbing or super agile activities. They are kind of bulky but they are super comfortable like a sneaker.
Just a note on buying these. They sell 3 different versions. If you're buying these for the military, remember that army regs dont allow zipper boots so buy this model with the laces and composite toe.
I bought these for my deployment after hearing how great they were. My issue boots had just about had it. Talk about an upgrade. After a few days, these boots were just like wearing regular shoes. Buy them and you won't regret it!
I bought these Converse boots based on advice from a coworker. I work as a national park ranger, so I do a lot of walking so I needed a quality pair of boots. I needed a boot with good ankle support because I'm constantly climbing up and down hills and rocky surfaces. These boots really fit the bill! They feel like my hiking shoes. Sometimes I forget I have them on. They are really that comfortable. The only thing is I should have known better and bought the waterproof version because the suede does get wet when I'm walking through several inches of water and does get through to my socks. I'm going to try treating them with a can of Scotch-Guard and see if that works.
