These boots are a great for light duty because they are very light and comfortable with not much break in. I'm not sure about the durability but they do run small. Just thought I'd mention to go a size larger with these.
Comfortable and easy to put on with the speed laces. Don't require much break in. I wore these out of the box with no problem with blisters or hot spots.
This is my second pair of these. My first pair I had to send back because the shoe lace eye detached from the boot along the suede liner. I contacted their customer service and emailed pictures of the problem I was having. They shipped me a new pair the same week so I was happy. I'm on my 2nd pair of these and they've held together with no problems whatsoever. It's pretty amazing that these boots are lighter than my nike running shoes. I've been wearing combat boots for 10+ years and the advancements in technology for boots has been impressive. How you can make a combat boot lighter than a running shoe is pretty amazing.
My son in the Army kept talking about how great these boots are so I figured an infantry soldier has got to know his boots so I ordered a pair of these Rocky C4Ts. I've always had problems with sore feet after wearing boots all day for work. They arrived after three days with free shipping. When I took these out of the box, I was amazed at how light they were. Theyre basically the size of one of my old Bates boots. I put them on and was surprised at how comfortable they were. They feel like tennis shoes. I was a little doubtful because they're made in China and I didn't expect them to last long. But after a few weeks, the soreness I'd typically get from wearing my Bates all day went away. I've been wearing these C4Ts for ten months now and they're still performing great. I love the fact that they are so light because for us older guys, every ounce counts especially after a long day of work. My only complaint is that they don't off much ankle support. I did twist my ankle on these but I can't totally blame the boots. I am 6'2", 250lb and I caught my foot on the doorjamb one day as I turned around and rolled my ankle. So it was probably my fault. Other than that, these boots are great.
These are awesome boot. I've been wearing Rocky boots for the last 3 years after switching from Wellco boots and have never looked back. These C4T hunting boots have been great and I also own a pair of the S2Vs. Both required minimal break in and I'd recommend both.
These C4T boots were recommended to me and I love them. They get the job done and are everything a boot should be. I wear them for 13+ hours a day and I'm on my feet with my job pretty much the whole time in a hospital. I don't really know how they would perform in outside conditions but they have been great and very comfortable. Now I'm the one recommending these to others!
These boots are easy to run in. They hug your feet, are comfortable, and lightweight. They really do feel like your wearing running shoes and they are so comfortable sometimes I forget that I have boots on. The only minor complaint I have the upper material of the boot. Its made out of some type of canvas or something. I'm sure thats what makes them so light but they are not boots I would wear for heavy duty work. They do seem a little fragile for working on a construction site or a place where your foot can get crushed. You would probably need a steel toe for that but I dont think that's what these boots are deisgned for. These Rocky C4Ts will do the job and be the most comfotable option 98% of the time.
Fantastic boots and super light. They feel like sneakers. Buy these!
These got to me in 2 days and have been very comfortable. The laces are a little weak and the top part of the boot doesnt offer much ankle protection. I still love these though or I would have returned them.
I bought these as a second pair of boots to my Army issue pair. These are about half the weight and more comfort then my issue Bates. I guess those will be going in the closet as my backups now and I'll be wearing the Rockys from now on.
The Rocky C4Ts are excellent for light duty work such as office or garrison duty. My first ruck with them was 6 miles with a 40 lbs rucksack. They performed great.
I bought these for paintballing which requires a lot of running and crawling. These boots are perfect and stay cool in the summer. They feel solid and light. It's great that they come in wide as well. The best part of these is I can really cinch them down tight around my foot without pinching my calves. They lace up with the pressure around the top of the foot which feels really secure. I tried the Tactical Research and Blackhawks but I prefer the Rockys.
Very happy with these. I use them for walking, running, pt, and even weight training in the gym. They're really comfortable and have that spongy feel in every step compared to other boots I've worn in the past. They air out really well so my feet stay dry for most of the day. They do run small, especially in the toe area so you may need to order a half size up or a wide width. Shipping was fast. Highly recommended!
Worth every penny. Very comfortable even running on concrete. They are padded really well. I use them for everything from rucking to garrison with no problems whatsoever.
