I use these for paintballing with my local club on the weekends. A lot of the guys have these which is why I thought I would try them out. These have been great for paintballing. Really quiet soles and grippy on loose surfaces for running. Also the smaller soles make it easy to low crawl and get through small areas. I have these on pretty much for the whole day and they have held up great. No blisters or hot spots and the zipper makes them easy to take off. I didn't really need the waterproof version but they were just a few bucks more. I haven't tested how well they work but so far, I'm happy with them.

Very happy with these. I've always worn traditional combat boots which provide the comfort and support I need for my job in the trucking industry. I tried these on the recommendation of a friend and let me say that these are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever put on. I spent a few weeks researching, and comparing models before I finally decided to purchase these. Ultimately I wanted a pair that was comfortable and waterproof as the winters in the northeast can be unforgiving. Oddly enough, I've had these for some months now and the zipper on one of them has faltered twice and is in need of repair. I wear them on a regular basis but as I work in a retail store selling computers, and NOT actually using this in the type of "rugged" terrain they're intended for I'm unpleasantly surprised that there's been any issue at all. I must say though, I've never found boots of any sort to be comfortable until I broke these in. They hug the feet similar to athletic shoes and are very light and flexible. I would certainly consider purchasing another pair in the future although I might think twice about any model that has a zipper.

These boots are incredibly comfortable, very well made and has zippers for quick & easier removal and no need to lace after initial lacing to your likeness. I would recommend these boots for anyone from Law Enforcement, Military, Motorcycle riding or hiking. Also great for everyday use.
