I ordered these boots as I wanted a taller boot and they were comfortable and previous boots I've owned from Wellco have held up nicely. For someone looking for a good boot, definitely try a pair.

Have been taking these boots camping for over 10 times now. They have put up with a lot of of abuse, going over rocks, water, dirt, mud and they still look and feel great. They are very comfortable, almost as comfortable as wearing tennis shoes. The waterproofing was great at first. I would cross over creeks about 5 inches deep and kept my feet dry but after the 2nd time I took them camping they are not so waterproof no more. Now I will go over creeks but some water will get in, though is not as bad as non-waterproof boots. These boots are expensive but well worth every penny.

These boots are simply marveleous, why because I am a vet from the vietnam era, the stuff we had was junk compared to these beauties, waterproof, warm, well made, great value, and the price was simply awesome, they feel like slippers, great support, I won't be taking these boots into harm's way, so I can't comment in that direction, but I wish I had these boots when I was humpin' the bush, we probably wouldn't have been such an angry mob. I hope these are at least offered to our troops! I hope this helps, just love this boot!!!

The boot fit as expected ,a bit long in the toe but I was more concerned with width.The boots feels great, looks great.

These boots are great. Had really bad weather from the snow then rain. My feet stayed dry which is saying a lot. The boots are open enough to get your feet in and out easliy. Highly recommend.

These are great waterproof boots with Gore-Tex linings, Vibram soles and steel toes. They are also light weight. Indeed, they are a great product from Wellco at a discounted price.

These boots kept my feet dry in 1' of river water they are not heavy in the least considering they have steel toes. They are a comfortable and light pair of serious boots "only need a minor break in" with good soles and decent insoles. They are surprisingly easy to clean and vent well considering they are nubuck. If you plan on wearing these in cold weather you will need a warm sock. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is because the color of the boot is actually a lighter pale sand color then the picture shows and because the boots arrived with several dirt smudges and one has a significant scratch on the toe. If I hadn't bought these to get dirty then I would have exchanged them for a clean pair. When I buy new products I expect them to look as such! Fortunately when I contacted Military Boots Direct they took good care of me.
