This boot features Belleville's patented Vanguard design which provides the comfort of a running shoe but the durability and performance of a tough combat boot.This boot features a waterproof GORE-TEX bootie and moisture wicking lining for maximum comfort. A Vibram Sierra Sole features multi-directional lugs to provides excellent grip and stopping power in all directions. The 790 is U.S. Army Combat Uniform Approved, U.S. Army Flight Approved and U.S. Air Force Flight Approved.

Excellent Flight Boots!

I bought these 790s for my first assignment flying C141s out of Ramstein AFB, Germany. I needed something insulated and waterproof because of the weather out here. So far, these have been great flight boots compared to the pair issued to me in UPT. I always have cold and sweaty feet and the gore tex keeps them pretty dry and warm when paired with wool socks. Nice to find a pair of good quality boots made in America.
