These boots run smaller in size and it is quite easy to match. Just go 1-1.5 size down from your regular shoes. The real problem is with their width. And there were no information on that. First I ordered regular width (my norm), had to request an exchange for wide. Wides turned out to be not even regular! Extremely tight and narrow. I had to return them and pay hefty $21 for shipping them back. Very disappointing after two weeks ordeal and having a real need in this kind of boots asap for our emergency rescue training. Biggest problem is lost time and money. All because of incorrect item description on the website. If you have narrow feet you may be ok with wide boots. But they won't work for all the regulars and wides. Save your time, money, and nerves.
Great ankle support without being too heavy.
Great boots for everyday USAF duty. In the past, I've worn Bates, Wellco's Converse and the Bellevilles seem to be the most comfortable. Also these are made in the USA so that might have something to do with it.
With most of the boots I have owned in the past, I've upgraded the factory insole with Superfeet. These Bellevilles feel like they have custom insoles right out of the box. This makes for a very minimal break in and a very comfortable boot. Also, they aren't any more expensive than comparable boots of other brands. They are actually on the lower end in terms of price. I'll definitely be buying another pair of these in the future.
I wear these boots everyday for my job in security forces. I spent the majority of my time standing and walking. These have been very comfortable and still look almost new. I definitely recommend these.
