Belleville is the largest supplier of footwear to the U.S. military and produces over one million pairs of boots annually. They have a long history as a military footwear supplier that dates back to World War I when they were awarded their first Department of Defense contract to the U.S. Army. Since their humble beginnings in a small local operation Belleville, Illinois, they now employ over 1300 workers and have become the nation’s largest producer of military footwear. Their use of cutting edge robotics, top quality materials, and commitment to the U.S. soldier is what has powered their success since 1904. Today, Belleville Boots continues to innovate and sets industry footwear standards for military boots.
By Don1978 from CA on Aug 24, 2010Great ankle support without being too heavy.
By Jim Herbst from Scott AFB on Aug 15, 2010Great boots for everyday USAF duty. In the past, I've worn Bates, Wellco's Converse and the Bellevilles seem to be the most comfortable. Also these are made in the USA so that might have something to do with it.
By Matt from Harrisburg, PA on July 12, 2010With most of the boots I have owned in the past, I've upgraded the factory insole with Superfeet. These Bellevilles feel like they have custom insoles right out of the box. This makes for a very minimal break in and a very comfortable boot. Also, they aren't any more expensive than comparable boots of other brands. They are actually on the lower end in terms of price. I'll definitely be buying another pair of these in the future.
By R. Lewis from Minot, ND on July 12, 2010I wear these boots everyday for my job in security forces. I spent the majority of my time standing and walking. These have been very comfortable and still look almost new. I definitely recommend these.
