comfortable boots

By elrond77 from Chicago, IL on Jan 1, 2012

I'm hesitant to buy shoes without first trying them on. I lucked out with these boots as I think they are really comfortable and much better then the 'flyer approved' sage boots that I've previously owned.

Belleville Boots fit the bill

By Roopods6 on Jul 23, 2011

I've owned a pair for over a year now and they've held up rather well. I swapped the plastic rubber insole for wool felt insoles for better comfort and absorption. The size was correct for me while I got 8.5M instead of my usual 8M for some extra toe room. I rarely completely tighten the laces so they aren't as constricting on the leg except when I do some quick hiking on a rough trail sometimes. Otherwise they are able to stay on quit well for stairs, sidewalks, lawns, ...etc. A good quality light spring to fall boot. The eyelets for drainage and ventilation are still intact after over a year too. I'll be ordering my next replacement pair soon as the treads wear down. The rough suede leather is practically maintenance free.

Great for My Feet

By R. Hadlock from Minneapolis, MN on Dec 23, 2010

I've got very sensitive feet and I've suffered from blisters with boots in the past. I've tried thicker socks, inserts, with mixed results. These Belleville are the first boots that I haven't had any foot issues with. Long hikes, hills, are not a problem now. I know different people get different results but I'm sold on these!

Pros:
No more blisters
Cons:

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Excellent Boots

By Jermaine from Mansfield, OH on Oct 4, 2010

These are my second pair of Belleville 600s. I'm still using my first pair but I rotate them to get more life out of them. Overall, very comfortable boots with almost no break in time. Keep in mind that they do run large

Pros:
U.S. made
Comfortable
Cons:

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Will Buy Again

By Don Green from Ramstein AFB on Sep 22, 2010

I tried these due to a buddy's recommendation. They're a definite upgrade to my USAF issue boots. Overall comfort and quality is a 10 of 10. They seem to be lighter and better built than the made in China boots. The only thing is they get soiled easily but that's because they're suede.

Pros:
Good heel support
Cons:
Soil easily

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Better than My Merrells

By G12 from Pueblo, CO on Sep 16, 2010

I use these for hiking the Rockies on the weekends. These are much more comfortable than my Merrells on long hikes. They provide excellent ankle support and grip well on rocky surfaces. I use these now while my Merrells sit in my closet. Overall, a great boot without breaking the bank.

Pros:
Good Traction
Affordable
Cons:

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Great Boots

By Amn R. Jobe from Boston, MA on July 24, 2010

Overall a very comfortable boot. I work in an office environment so not to demanding on my boots but these seem to be good quality and are easy to maintain. The only thing is they get dirty easily if rainy or muddy.

Pros:

Good no problems.
Cons:
Get dirty easily

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Highly Recommended

By Jay Pimental from Kansas City, MO on July 19, 2010

These run really large. I wear a size 12 boot and had to exchange these a couple of times before ending up with a size 11. Overall, great boots. Very comfortable, lightweight, and affordable. I definitely recommend these

Pros:
Made in the USA
Good quality
Cons:
Run really large

horrible boots

By Daniel Dale on Mar 14, 2010

right off the bat, the quality of the boots is low because they aren't sized right. I wear a 10.5-11 regularly; i wear a 9.5 in these. they are hard and don't have good support. definitely not worth the money.

Cons:

I would not recommend this item to a friend.
