I work on my feet, and I will not hesitate to wear these over my best running shoes at work, or over my GI Army boots when I'm airsofting. Super durable, super comfortable. Well worth the asking price, and your feet will thank you.
Got these boots issued per my job as a civil service technician. I'm in the Guard and I ONLY wear them to Guard drill. I've had them about a year, so I've probably worn them a total of 30-45 days. In that time, the fit and comfort has been outstanding. The heel piece was rough when I first got it, but it's broken in nicely now. However, the soles have started to separate and make a god-awful squeaking noise every time I take a step. For $205 a pair, I expect a better product. Or atleast a product that doesn't start to separate and squeak after very limited use.
I HATE steel toe boots with a passion and i always have because of comfort and space, but i will say that i wore these for about 10 minutes when i first got them and they felt like they were already broke in. i now wear this pair of boots everyday and am very pleased with them. they have great comfort, great support, not to hot seems like they breath fairly well. and plenty of room to wiggle the toes
After the first few weeks of wearing these boots, I absolutely love them. They are sturdy and very water resistant. Some downfalls: I normally wear a 9.5 U.S. size, but I had to get a 9 with these boots. Also, they gave me terrible blisters on my achilles/heel area, so I had to wear moleskin on my heel until I broke them in. Otherwise, awesome and high quality combat boots!
I have been wearing the S2V steel toes now for about 3.5 weeks, 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. The edge of the reinforced toe caused some friction against my pinky toe, but once the sole took shape I was good to go. Definately worth the money, trust me! Don't think twice if you're in the market for a long lasting steel toe boot.
I bought these when I was in the USAF (2011) and still wear them to this day; they're perfect for snowy conditions as well.
