Altama was the first purveyor of the Army desert that was introduced during operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. This modern design borrows from the original hot weather jungle boot used in Vietnam in the 1960s. A lightweight upper provides lightweight breathable comfort for troops operating in hot dry desert environments. The Altama 5852 Desert Tan Vulcanized Military Boot features the ever popular Panama outsole, and all-terrain sole design and provides excellent grip and traction in dry and wet conditions.
