Wore these for 3 years while in Afghanistan. Typical rucks of 5 to 10 miles in rocky and sandy terrain in 100+ degree weather was pretty normal. These Belleville 500s have held up really well. I can't really complain about the durability or comfort.
I bought these boots for construction. I'm on my fifth Pier. I've tried different brands such as Wolverine, Red Wing, Rocky but I keep coming back to these. Basically you can't beat the quality and toughness of these boots. I wear them for 10 to 12 hours on a typical work day and they've held together really well. I usually get about a year out of these with some pretty heavy use. One more thing, they do run a bit large as I normally wear a size 12 but in these I take an 11.5. Highly recommended.
Received the boots in 3 days and they fit pretty well. These Boots don't run large or small. Order your regular size. Quality boots. Worth the money.
I bought the same size Belleville as I do with my Merrell hiking boots and they fit perfect. I like a little bit of toe room but not too much. The size 10 regular fit me perfect with wool hiking socks. I did a 4-mile hike on a paved Road the first day with little to no blisters so kudos to Belleville for making a comfortable boot. I've also taken them on pretty regular 5 to 10 Mile hikes with no problems at all. Now that they're broken in, I have total comfort. I like the long laces with the speed eyelets which makes it easy to put on. I wrapped them around my ankles a couple of times and they stay pretty secure. A great quality, great comfort, very happy with this purchase
Very happy with this product. Just out of the box, you realize that these are high quality materials and will last. Only time will tell but I like the fact that these are American made and have gotten good reviews.
I bought these boots before. The first pair lasted 6 months from heavy use in my job at sanitation. These Bellevilles are pretty good because I typically get one to two months out of a new pair of boots due to the rough use. I average about 20,000 steps a day just in my job. The souls last pretty well. They eventually split down the middle after 6 months. I can't really complain about these boots as they are pretty tough. I've bought everything from $50 up to $200 boots and these Bellevilles are the best bang for the buck
I can't complain. Another pair of excellent boots. They are comfortable and wear well even in hot weather despite the Gore Tex. They are made in the USA and well made at that. Quality leather and stitching. I own these in the desert tan color but thought I'd try the coyote color. They clean up easy and go well with jeans or slacks. Highly recommended!
I bought the Belleville USMC 500 Boots and have 2 complaints. First the Gore Tex liner leaks and allows water to enter in the toe area. I got them exchanged and they didnt give me a hard time. Second, they ran extremely large. Like a full size bigger than what I wear in other boot brands.
Belleville are the fastest to break-in and the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I was in the Army for 20 years I know boots. The comfort and durability of the Belleville 500 boots is unsurpassed. This is my first pair of waterproof Gore Tex boots and it works as advertised.
This pair of Belleville 500s was my first pair of waterproof boots. Almost all Gore Tex boots I've owned in the past have leaked. Some more than others. I have to say I'm impressed with these. Belleville did a great job designing this boot for the USMC. a full tongue keeps dirt and sand out and I've walked in 4 inches and my feet were still bone dry. I like the Vibram tread that sheds mud easily and grips well on sand and loose dirt. Surprisingly in hot weather my feet don't sweat and stay reasonably cool. This boot is amazing.
I got these 3 days after I ordered them, opened the box, put them on and went to work. Break in was minimal. No hot spots even. Great support and cushioning. Very comfortable boot.
I bought these for my husband who was complaining about sweaty feet in his old pair. He says these are great. They wick really well and his feet are dry even when he gets home from work. They do run huge though. We had to return the size 11 for a size 10. Just keep that in mind.
It's no wonder than the Marine Corps issues these boots. Belleville did their homework on this one. Really well made boot and very comfortable. I've had mine for 3 years now and they're still going strong. I only had to replace the laces that were fraying. Proud to wear these.
