Weak Stitching

By Thomas on Sep 16, 2016

I am a forester, and I work on steep slopes off trail. This is a comfortable boot with good traction, but the stitching on the lower part of the boot is too exposed and weak. Within three months, both rows of stitching blew out creating a hole into the boot. Other parts of the stitching on the lower boot are ready to do the same thing. I found the insole too thick, and it created excess pressure on the top of my foot, even with lightly cushioned socks. I used a heat gun to separate the two layers of the insole and just used the bottom layer. If it weren't for the weak stitching, I'd rate them four starts. They run small.

Pros:
Comfortable, light, good traction
Cons:
Insole too thick, weak and exposed stitching

Highly recommend

By O on Nov 22, 2012

So light and so comfortable! Don't look like Christmas elf boots like the Nike boot. Took no time at all to break in too! Highly recommend boot. I did the Manchu Mile in them and had no issue

Pros:
Light and very comfortable
Cons:
Thred on upper part started to wear away a little quick

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Belleville 633 Sabre

Tried Belleville's for the first time and I've been very impressed. The 633s are really comfortable and the look is great. Very high tech and aggressive looking.

Couldnt be happier

By Jose F. on Sep 19, 2012

I couldnt be happier with these boots. I was looking for a lightweight tactical style boot because most combat boots I have had in the past are heavy and bulky. I wanted a boot that would be easy to run in so I thought Id give these a try. Man, they are comfortable and so easy to run in. They feel like they're wrapped around your feet compared to some clunky boots that weigh your foot down. I don't know how long they will last but Belleville boots have a good reputation for high quality so I'm thinking these will last me at least for a couple of years.

Ive owned Altama, Nikes boots, and Bates (what they issued me in basic) and the Bellevilles are the best out of all of them.

Good Boots

By William Shingle on Jul 27, 2012

Nice boots with a tactical feel. I like the aggressive tread that comes up the sides of the boot. Probably good for climbing and rapelling down ropes.

I love these boots!

By Cpt James Connors on Jun 3, 2012

I just want to say thanks Belleville for making these boots! I've been in the Army for 6 years and this is the first time I've worn boots that feel like they're not slowing me down. These boots feel like running shoes with ankle support. Drill and running are no problem with these. My other boots are heavy and clumbsy compared to these so they'll be my backup boots while I have these on.

Nice Boots

By Samantha from Castle Rock, CO on Mar 4, 2012

Fast shipping from these guys. The boots came in 3 days from the Belleville factory. Very comfortable boots right out of the box. I question the durability though because the rubber sole seems like its made of soft rubber.

Pros:
Comfortable
No break in time
Cons:

I would recommend this item to a friend.
