First pair I had were sent back after 3 months off office wear, the nylon starting fraying away from the leather. I had to buy another pair while sending the first ones back so I would have a pair to wear. Got a refund on the first pair. No problem, it happens. Received the second pair and wore them two months and put them away as our uniform changed to dress. Pulled the boots back out to wear again. 1 month later the did the same thing as the first pair in an office. Other reviews said they were good, guess I got a bad run, Too late now for warranty. I will NOT be buying another pair of Bellevilles nor would I recommend them. Going back to Danners, a lot more expensive, but proves you get what you pay for.
Well made and solid. This is what I expect from an American made boot.Belleville didn't skimp on the leather. This is high quality premium leather.
I bought these 770s after buying a pair of hot weather Bellevilles (300 ST). These are just as comfortable as the hot weather versions but I'll need the gore tex and the thinsulate once winter comes. Durable. Good quality. I really cant complain.
Be warned that Belleville boots do run large. These were at least 1/2 size larger than my Wolverine work boots. That being said. This is an excellent pair of boots and I'm leaving this review after wearing them last winter season. I work in law enforcement and these are my "go to" boots for everything from patrol to desk duty. Virtually no break in and great support for those with foot problems like mine. I have flat feet and suffer from planar faciatis. I'd feel arch pain with my Wolverines after just a few hours so I came to expect it. But after trying these Bellevilles on the advice of a buddy, I'm never going back. Well made boot and made in the USA!
My second pair of Bellevilles. Decent boots but added a cheap rubber insole that bunches up. The rest of the boot looks like good quality. I replaced these with a pair of Dr Scholls anyways.
Great boot out of the box. Solid construction and not lightweight but definitely built to last. Ankle support is good without being to much that movement is restricted. Factory insert is floppy piece of cheap foam but upgrade to Superfeet and this boot can't be beat. This pair should last several years.
I've worn these in the past and the sizing must have changed because the set I bought was slightly narrower.
