Coming apart after 3 months

By SFC Al Harmon from Green River, WY on Feb 25, 2013

I got these Lowa Zephyr boots 3 months ago and I was very happy with them. They fit great and very comfortably right out of the box. No blisters or hot spots the first day and even went on a 5 mile ruck. The reason I'm writing this review is just last week, they started coming apart. The sole is peeling apart from the rest of the boot at the heel. I ended up getting some Goop at the PX to glue them back but I'm very disappointed at the fact that these ar $200 boots made in Europe and they are coming apart.

Good but some issues

By Dennis on Feb 12, 2013

I've been using these boots day in and out for over 6 months and they are really comfortable and lightweight. Definitely a joy to wear. The laces were lousy so I changed them out right away and these boots have held together after some heavy use which has been impressive. The eyelets did give out on the left boot probably due to the constant climbing and descending on hills and mountains which I know it tough on your boots.

Best boot I've owned so far

By Tony G. from Coudersport, PA on Oct 13, 2012

Best boots I've owned after wearing a dozen different brands of boots for over 15 years. These by far are the most comfortable and best quality I've worn. I have flat feet and suffer from planar fasciatis so I use a custom orthotic in these and have had no problems or pain in the arches for over a year. I just bought a second pair so I can switch in and out between 2 pairs when I get deployed again. Definitely worth the money.
