This boot is based on the U.S. Army's hot weather desert boot, first introduced in Operation Desert Storm. It features a sage green suede and nylon quarter upper for light weight and durability. This is a hot weather boot and has dual drainage vents to keep your feet dry and cool while you're in the fight. Top traction is provided by the ever popular Panama sole, first introduced on the Vietnam jungle boot, The 5189 is made in the USA and approved for the Air Force battle uniform (ABU).
