These are probably the most comfortable boots I've worn for work in over 20 years. Excellent padding, holds a shine and lightweight
I use these for paintballing on the recommendation of a buddy. Perfect for sneaking around corners. They are super light and have a flexible soft sole which is why they are so quiet . These are perfect for the hot weather in Arizona. Also they are reasonably priced which is great since I only use them sometimes on the weekends for my hobby. Highly recommended!
I just bought these last month for a five day hiking trip in Yosemite National Forest. I probably should have broken them in before the trip but luckily, I had no problems with hot spots or blisters. That's the good news. They held together great and were really comfortable. My feet did get a little wet when we had to make it through a creek but these weren't advertised as Gore Tex boots. Overall, they did the job and helped make for a good trip.
These were great for my training at the Chicago Police Academy. Very comfortable. I would recommend buying this boot a half size smaller.
Nice boots. Keep my feet dry during long hours. Good comfort in heel.
I bought these for my boyfriend after reading some of the Amazon reviews. He works for TSA and is on his feet all day. He always used to complain about his aching feet with his old boots. He loves these and had me buy him a second pair. He's already recommended these to several of his coworkers.
Im in the army and bought these for my deployment to Turkey. I can't really complain about these boots. Upon close inspection, the quality and workmanship in extremely good. I noticed the heel and toe are doubly stiched to the leather part of the boot. Also, the quality of the leather seems high and is easy to keep clean as you can expect from suede leather. The comfort has been excellent and these have been a blessing to my feet coming from a pair of jungle boots. There is adequate firmness in the sole and good padding in the ankle area and top of the boot. In the performance category, they are also great. The sole grips really well on loose dirt and rocks. I haven't tried them on slippery or wet surfaces but I imagine they will perform fine because they have a tread pattern which allows the water to flow around the treads. Overall, the 1150s turned out to be a great purchase and have held together great for the last 3 months I've been deployed. I'll be looking at buying another pair once these wear out.
these original swats are the best boots ive ever owned. they are ultra lightweight and weigh about the same as my nike running shoes. they are padded really well and gave me no problems with my feet even with the factory insoles. these cost way less than the rocky work boots i used to have before these and they are less than half the price. very happy with these and i cant recommend them enough.
Very comfortable boots for the money. I've had these for two months and I give them a 5 star rating in the comfort area. They ventillate good and my feet stay dry as well. The only things I'd change are adding speed laces to make them easier to get on or off.
I've never had any problems with these Original Swats. Comfort is a plus. However, the styling is more traditional, unlike the new army designs that are coming out by Tactical Research and Wellco. That's just a minor point though. I'll be sticking with another pair of these once my current pair wear out.
All I have to say is awesome boots. Very comfortable, light, and affordable. I can't really ask for more than that. I'm deployed right now and I'm very happy with these. Great value for what I paid.
