The Tactical Research TR916Z CT Chrome Zipper Composite Toe 6in Boot was designed for law enforcement professionals looking for a lightweight duty boot with the convenience of a side zipper for convenient wear. This boot features Belleville's new "stitchless" technology known as "Hot Fusion" to provide an exoskeleton for low weight & durability. The highly breathable upper is made from lightweight mesh and 100% genuine leather for a sharp uniform appearance at all times. A durable side zipper stays out of the way with a Velcro retainer tab so you can keep a low profile during sensitive operations. A six inch height provides moderate ankle support and protection and will keep you cooler than a standard height 8in boot. This boot a composite toe and 100% non-metallic construction so falling objects, electrical hazards, and x-ray detection will never be an issue. Lastly, a cleat & lug outsole design provides sticky grip and traction on both concrete and loose surfaces.
